Preview the Golf Pages
Here’s a look at some of the designs, from simple equipment pages for little ones to full course scenes for older kids and adults.

Young Boy Golfing
A smiling boy mid-swing. A friendly first page for kids who are just picking up a club or watching a parent play.

Classic Golf Bag
An upright bag packed with clubs. Simple, bold shapes make it the easiest page here, and fun to color in your own club’s colors.

Golfer Got Victory
A golfer leaping with the club held high. A good page for celebrating a first par, a club win or a hole-in-one.

Missed Golf Putt
The moment the ball rolls just past the cup. A funny, relatable page that golfers of every level will recognize.

How to Color a Golf Course
- Use two greens. The putting green is cut shorter than the fairway, so color it a lighter, brighter green and use a deeper green for the fairway and rough. Alternating light and dark stripes copies the mowing pattern you see on TV.
- Sand and water. Bunkers are pale tan or beige; water hazards look best in two blues, darker at the edges and lighter in the middle.
- Give the ball dimples. Leave the golf ball white and add a few tiny grey circles. Real golf balls have hundreds of dimples that help them fly farther.
- Pick a team look. Color the golfer’s shirt and the bag to match a favorite player, a school team or the family’s own colors.
Golf Facts to Share While Coloring
- A standard golf course has 18 holes.
- The hole on the green is 4.25 inches (108 mm) wide, barely more than two and a half golf balls across.
- “Par” is the number of strokes a skilled golfer should need for a hole. One under par is a “birdie,” two under is an “eagle.”
Golf Coloring Ideas
- Junior golf camp. A quiet coloring break between lessons or while waiting for a tee time.
- Father’s Day or birthday card. Color the victory page and fold it into a card for the golfer in the family.
- Scorecard game. Kids “play” each page as a hole: finish coloring it in as few sittings as possible to score a birdie.
